Golfing in Paradise
Travel to Colombo which is located on the Western Coast after landing on the tropical island of Sri Lanka. You can play as much golf as you like at The Royal Colombo Golf Club. Take some time out of your day to explore the sights as well.
On the third day, leave Colombo and travel to Kandy, making a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage before continuing on to the Victoria Golf Club. Play golf and take advantage of the cool weather when you get to Kandy. Explore locations like the Temple of the Tooth Relic or Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.
Leave Kandy and travel to Nuwara Eliya which is located in Sri Lanka’s Central Hills. It is known as ‘Little England’ due to its temperate climate which draws residents there for vacations. Given the cool weather in this city, golf is the ideal sport to play. Visit Gregory Lake and take part in the city’s exploration.
On the day seven you can treat yourself to spa services at the Shangri La Golf Resort and Spa to help your body relax. Enjoy the sights, scenery and coastal wonders while visiting Hambantota by playing golf by the sea.
Leave Hambantota and head to Galle on Day Eight. Because of its rich history and culture, this city has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore this seaside city first, then continue on to Bentota. During a leisurely boat ride down the Madu River, take in the breathtaking scenery up close. You can then go to the turtle hatchery to see the incredible efforts being made to save the different kinds of turtles.
After taking in all that Sri Lanka has to offer, depart the island nation.
